October has been a busy month for us! Cooler temperatures ushered in Fall and we pulled out the Halloween decorations and made pumpkin spice cookies.
The kids had Fall break and we decided to load up and head to St. Louis. They had a blast at the City Museum!
My husband and I turned 40 last week and we celebrated with friends in Cabo. The weather was perfect, the views were unbeatable, and the company was even better! I think I’m going to enjoy this next chapter of my life. 🙂
The last stop on our anniversary road trip was Yellowstone National Park. We spent the entire day there and easily could have stayed one more day! There was so much to see.
We drove around the park and just stopped whenever we saw something that looked intriguing. This spot was a surprise because we couldn’t actually see it from the road. We were walking to see something that was listed on our park map and came across this. The photo doesn’t aptly show the vibrant blue color of the water. It was stunning in person!
Of course, we had to make a stop to see Old Faithful. 🙂 There are tentative times that are listed for it to erupt based on historical activity, but you still need to get there early on so that you can have a spot to sit. There are always tons of people there and if you want to be up front to get good pictures, then arrive early and wait.
This park is on our list to return to with our children. I think maybe on our next trip, we’ll rent a trailer and camp inside the park!
